Plenty of choices to stay in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. July is in rainy season so the room prices are even more competitive.

Check more for your accommodation taste in : www.canbypublications.com This website gives you quite extensive info about accommodation in PP and SR, as well as what to see and things to do.

In PP, you may want to consider : The Bodhi Tree Guesthouse, located in front of the Tuol Sleng Museum. Good restaurant also.

I prefer the Peace of Angkor Villas in Siem Reap. Managed by a friendly British couple with very well trained staff. Clean and comfy rooms. The locatation is a bit off the beaten track but that's part of the charm, too. In Phnom Penh I always stay at the Dara Reangsey Hotel. Great location near the river and it's run by a very friendly and helpful Cambodian family. Both hotels have websites and can arrange airport pickup.
