Keep in mind that this CD would be available to purchase both online and at record stores around the world, so consider it to be a bunch of songs that would have worldwide appeal.

Because it just sums it all up baby! 
a toss up between AC/DC 'Highway to hell' or Green Day 'Time of your life'
Both are fantastic songs, and great for the road.
You can't have a travelling album with out REO Speedwagon's "Back on the Road Again"
Modern Love by Bowie. You can't not move when you hear it. Or Never Going Back Again by Fleetwood Mac for the same reason. Ask me again tomorrow and I'll change my mind!
I also heard the theme song to "Welcome Back, Kotter" on the bus today. Right now I'd put that on a CD too!
