This sounds stupid... but I am purchasing a Eurailpass for 15 days (Flexipass). Which train would I take if I had this ticket????

You can take all trains, but on some of the high speed ones you might have to pay a supplement.
Have a look at this site, it has a lot of info about railpasses.

Goto the Eurorail site. There are loads of Interactive maps and you can see the routes and it'll say which trains they use. and whether it's the premiere or classic trains.

Flexipasses are good. Keep in mind that if you want to be on a specific train at a specific time in order to get to the destination at a certain time that you should make a reservation which is addition to the pass but that's if the train is getting full. If the train is empty then no worries.
