I am happy to tell you of my experiences - but reading the messages here Im not sure I can tell you names of schools or compny where I found the school?
Ania :-)

No, please don't. I highly suspect you are actually the same person as three of the member accounts I inactivated yesterday and have quite some evidence of this as well. In other words, a carefully concealed spammer.... how could any spanish school actually be a serious company if all they do is spam forums all day long; sad!

Although the threat is rather old, I don't find anything directly mentionned about the accents. Therefore, I am answering to it. I love the south of Spain (especially Malaga) and stayed there quite often.

I've been learning Spanish since several years at home and could understand most of the things, but I noticed the different accent in the area. It's beautiful and warm, just like the South, but it isn't clear Castellano. Thus, I wouldn't recommend it as a place to learn Spanish. I favored Salamanca and Madrid over the south because of the and decided for Spain in the end (I love cosmopolitan city life!). It was a beautiful experience I won't forget! Sure, it's very different, but different doesn't mean worse. I spent six weeks at - snip -

[ Edit: Sorry, no promos please. ]
