I recently graduated from high school and was wondering if any other Canadians have or do live in any European countries?
If you could give me any information it would be great, thanks!:):)

I'm canadian (well, québécoise but it,s not the right place to talk about that), I've lived in spain for 6 months and going back for another year on september 11. Plus, my dad (also from québec) has been living there for 10 years now. I don't know everything but I can try answering your questions.

As a fellow Canadian who had lived in London England for a year and a half I can help you out a bit. I decided after I graduated from univeristy that I wanted to spend some time in another country, a place with a different culture and a pub on every corner. But since my German and French were weak, I decided that London England was the best place for me. I contacted the British Consulate embassy in Vancouver and they told me about a Commonwealth Youth Visa which you can use for a working holiday. Here's some info on Working Holiday Maker Scheme:

So,if you wish to work in the UK at least, contact the closest British Consulate in your area, and inquire about the Commonwealth Youth Working Holiday Visa, which is good for up to two years.

Good luck,

Petra M of Vancouver BC Canada
