beaches south vietnam
Hi,
Vung Tau and Mui Ne are very touristy beaches in South Vietnam. If you prefer a quieter beach, then go to Ho Coc beach which lies in between of Vung Tau and Mui Ne.
If you have about 3 - 5 days, why don't you go to Phu Quoc island or Con Dao island. These islands have beautiful beaches, great swimming and diving, and also forests for trekking.
Pleased to give you more info and comments on beaches in VN if you wish to.
You will have a great trip here. Welcome to Vietnam!

I've been to Phu Quock and I loved it. Think you have to go now, before the mass discovers it. In the North West of the island you have this 'resort' (12 huts and a restaurant of GREAT quality). Cannot remember the name though. It is owned by a french man and his vietnamese wife and I would definately suggest staying there.
The name might come to mind and I'll post the name...
hi
yes, you'd go to Muine-the wonderful beach!
Just been in Vung Tau again and was warned to watch for syringes and needles on the beach,
really? I was just at Vung Tao and it seemed very clean.
Anyone who thinks of nice resorts on phuc Quoc, let me know, I need a vacation
Know quite a few expats that live in Vung Tau and the warning came from them.
I advise you the Beihai Silver Beach, in Guangxi. the bordering place between China and Vietnam.
Have a nice trip.
March/April is a very good time to go there.
I enjoyed Vung Tau. Nice town, nice beach, peaceful. If you don't see the Vietnamese people on the beach , go there very early in the morning (6 a.m.), especially if you're a photographer.
