Hello All!
Just booked my flight to Sau Paulo on the 26th Sept. I am working in BA on Oct 1st but the flight to Sau Paulo worked out much cheaper and i get a 1 year option of stay....
Anyway, anyone got any information on trains, buses from Sau paulo to BA? I know it will take days!!!
I need some info on prices, where to get train from once i get to the airport etc!!
Pls help!

It doesn't take thát long; although not very recommendable, you could do it in 2 days. From Sao Paulo, I'd recommend you take a night bus to either Curitiba or Foz do Iguacu; the latter is your better option, since you'd have an opportunity to visit the falls, which are terrific in this time of year. From Puerto Iguazu (on the Argentinian side) it's another 18 hours to BsAs.
When travelling via Curitiba, busses usually go down along the Uruguayan/Argentinian border, although there's also an option along the Atlantic coast. Never done either, but I think that the Iguazu-option is best.
What kind of job are you starting, btw? Just curious...

Thank you so much for your help! Time is approaching!
I am learning Spanish in my first month with a host family and volunteering for the second in the orphanage. After that im going to see more of Argentina, then Uruguay and go back to Brazil!
Give me a shout nearer the time to meet for a beer!
