I would like some information about traveling to Greece from Italy. I need the least expensive transportation to get from Italy to Greece, and while in Greece, to get from Olympia to Athens. Would 3 days be enough to see these places? Thanks

Hi there ..
Well, you can get a ferry (regular routes every day)from either Bari, Bridisi, or Ancona ports. Bari is the best since it takes less time to get to Igoumenitsa port (North West Greece - 7:30 hours by bus to Athens approx.). But there are also ferries leaving from the above mentioned ports of Italy direct to Patra port (South West Greece), which is closer to Athens (3 hours by bus). If you manage to get to Athens then Olympia is not a long distance. And you can get safe info in all Tourist Offices in the city center.

For more info, do not hesitate !

Enjoy ur trip

it depends on where u leave italy from. if u're near ancona, or bari, or brindisi, on the adriatic sea, it might be cheaper by ferry to either igoumenitsa or patras.
otherwise u can try checking low cost airlines to athens via the athens airport website
have a nice trip!

I agree, Bari or Brindisi.
