I am planning to travel from Nepal to to Tibet then on to Beijing by train. What are the Visa requirements and how do I obtain train tickets?

I don't think there're even trains from Nepal to Lhasa to start with.

you can take the train from lhasa of tibet to beijing.

do you know where I can pre reserve/buy a train ticket from Lhasa to Beijing?

I hope the following information is useful for you.:)
You can take the Express train T28 from Lasha to Beijing,
The start time is 8:00am, you will arrive at 8:00am in the third day in Beijing west railway station.
It take 48hours and it is 4046km. for the price. The hard seat is 221RMB, the soft seat 374RMB, and the hard sleeper is 415RMB, and the soft sleeper is 684RMB.
You can buy the tickets in the Lasha railway station.
