try http://www.railchoice.co.uk - it's meant to be cheap if you buy Eurail passes in groups of 5 or more. It helped me and my mates when we did Amsterdam to Zurich via France and Germany.

Hope this helps...

Mike :)

Yeah, I probably say by train aswell! It's very easy to travel from Dusseldorf to Amsterdam and from there to Paris. Maybe you can find some more info on the Dutch railwaysystem on www.ns.nl. They do have groupdiscounts, but not too sure how big your group has to be. And in Holland we have an interrail thing aswell for students and young people to travel around Europe cheap (www.interrail.nl accessable for other Nationalities aswell but mostly better for longer trips as in travelling around Europe for a month orso). Maybe there's some info to find on the Thalys website aswell (a very fast train with 300 k per hour) from Amsterdam to Paris; www.thalys.nl or on the ICE trains website (from Dusseldorf to Amsterdam) www.iceinternational.nl. All sites can be turned into English language.
Not sure what you wanna do and see in Amsterdam, but maybe it's an idea to turn your trip around?! First to Paris and then to Amsterdam, since you probably want to see the 'nightlife' in Amsterdam and will be recked afterwards! Well, hope this helps a bit, good luck finding the best offer/trip and if you have any questions; feel free to ask! Enjoy your trip cause Paris and Amsterdam are beautifull!! Marijn
