I'm looking at staying at the Asha guest house. Has anyone stayed here?

I know it's a bit out of the centre of Bangkok, but I've read loads of great reviews about it.

I'm just wondering if people would recommend getting a taxi directly from the airport to the GH, or does a bus from the airport take you near this area, or to somewhere I could get the sky train from to the GH?

(The nearest station to the GH is Saphan khwai and its a 10ish minute walk from here to the GH).

Im afraid i have no info on Asha guest house...but a great one i stayed at is the D & D Inn on Khao Sarn road. A nice place with swimming pool and bar on the roof. At the time it was only 450 baht but i think it has been renovated since and the price may have increased a little. In any case, it is right on Khao Sarn Rd, which is a street that has to be seen to be believed. And a bus leaves regularly from the airport straight to it.

I've already reserved a place, but haven't paid anything yet. Would you recommend me finding somewhere on Khao Sarn road?

and is this right in the centre of Bangkok?
