The wife and i can not decide between 2 holidays to South Africa next year. I am the Safari type enjoyng the good ol feel of the bush and would love to spend the whole 3 weeks in a Game park where the wife wants to spend her time on the beach / shopping / sight seeing. so we have finally come up with 2 choices. it has been 2 weeks now and we still cant pick one (well i pick one and the wife picks the other) So i thought about putting it a vote / forum .

These are the 2 we have chosen

Why don't you do both? Spend a week driving and camping around in Kruger or some other park to get a sense of the african safari and then jet on down to Cape town where the wife can have all the shopping and beach time she wants. While you are there, you can also take day trips to some game parks, do whale watching or shark diving trips as they are only a few hours away or even drive up to the Karoo for some realy different scenery. There are also some great wine routes to travel in the area that can easily be done in a day trip.
So much to do and see and so little time.

i agree 100 % with jekalo. There is so much to do on both holidays that’s its hard to choose. too help out i would suggest that both are just as good and both will like each one as much , you will get to shop / see wildlife / play golf etc etc on both types of holidays there. Cape Town and the Kruger Park are just amazing. Id flip a coin on this one, trust me, both are fantastic ideas.
