This is my very first post and I am not sure if this is the place to even post this question.

I would love some expertise on a very exotic, very beautiful place to tak emy wife this year.

Money is no concern. But if there is an exchange rate, Please keep that in mind when advising.

I want something with beautiful beaches, somewhere where the locals are very nice and just something very exotic off the beaten path.

Preferably an island. Great accoodations. Great food. Beautiful water. A place with great warm weather even hot is ok.

Thanks in advance.

If anyone may know a better place to post this question please advise.

By the way I am 33 and my wife is 23. We have kids, but not on this trip.

if money is no concern then somewhere like Tahiti would be great. Fiji is also an option worth while looking into.

Both these places have the requirements you demanded in your post

Might I suggest Samoa? Beatiful, unspoilt, cheap, culturally interesting.

Check out:

Virgin Cove - eco resort on an incredibly serene beach.

Namua Island - basic, but an incredible setting - we got the whole island to ourselves for a couple of days.

Samoan Outrigger - great budget hotel in the capital Apia.

Sails Restaurant - fab restaurant in Robert Louis Stephenson's old house, great lobster and freshwater prawns.

Green Turtle - tours of both of the main islands, very helpful and able to book some of the more out-of-the-way accomodation and get you there.
