Dear Volunteers,

A number of people have posted a message to me on this thread kindly offering their help. I take care to respond to each enquiry with a personal message (sent direct to your message centre) but rarely then get any subsequent follow up. I can only imagine that (like me) many first time posters are not aware of the message centre or how to view messages sent direct to them.

Please check your personal message inbox for responses to offers of volunteering help.

Thanks to all

Hola Andy,
My family & I will be in Bangkok in July & we have been looking for a volunteer program. This sound great. Can you give me some more details about your program. My daughters are 13&15. We would really like to hear more.

Hello Andy,
Fantastic! I will be in Thailand as of 16th Sept. '08 to complete a Thai massage course. I have paid for a double entry- visa as i also planned to travel Laos and Cambodia after seeing some more of Thailand and the completion of my course...therefore will probably be in the area as of Dec. onwards - with no particular time restrictions other than the max. a visa for this country will allow me (which i am told i can only really acquire at the border?)...and the 1 year validity of my return flight (valid until Sept '09).

Unfortunately i am not qualified in the particular skills which you are seeking, but am willing, hard-working and enthusiastic about doing all i can to make a difference, while experiencing some of the true culture; i want a real taste of life in these parts - not just to be a tourist 'merely passing through'!

I have been working as a personal carer, am a qualified massouse / Reflexologist, am practical, creative, open minded, enjoy working within a team, a fast learner; relish a challenge, have good use of the English language....(with a view to TEFL at a later date) you think i could be of any use to you?

Good luck in this endeavour and thankyou for bringing this opportunity to those who can and want to make a difference!

Jessica and Najeeb,

I have sent you both a PM (private message). As new members it is not immediately obvious that you have mail waiting for you in your private inbox.

Thanks for the posts and the offers of help.
