This is for any Canadian citizens that are traveling. I am looking at getting some travel insurance that covers my ipod and some camera gear. Does anyone know of some companies that offer that as well as the normail medical insurance. When i have traveled before i have used CAA travel and it has been fine but it did not cover my electronics. Any help would be great.

Do you have home owners or renters insurance (or, if you live with your parents, do they)? That should cover your electronics, even when you travel.

On a slightly related note, I was speaking with Meloche Monnex yesterday (great deals there, BTW) and they told me that my homeowner's insurance also covers my civil liability outside my own home. So if I accidentally burn down the disco at a resort in Cuba after knocking down a candle in a drunken jig, I'm good to go. Nice to know, actually.
