now im trying to find out prices in uruguay so i kan roughyl work out the amount of money i shuld take or save now all i need to know is the regular retail price of a few everyday things umm ok
a bottle of coke 600 ml -
a packet of cigarettes -
etc
now i need these prices in pesos so kan anyone plz help
I wouldn't know in that amount of detail, but when I was in Uruguay last time (i.e. August) I found the price level to be slightly lower than in Argentina. Currency-wise, the Argentine peso is worth 8 times more than its Uruguayan counterpart, so you can kinda do the maths. Your bottle of coke, which is about 4 ARS, would be smt like 25-30 UYU

I´m uruguayan so I can answear you questions.
- a bottle of coke 600 ml: 15 pesos - 0.6 American Dollar.
- a packet of cigarettes (depends on the brand) but about 30 pesos - 1.2 American dollar.
- a good meal in a restaurant (with meat, desert, etc) about 200 pesos - 8 American dollar.
- Food to go (like Mc.Donalds) but about 100 pesos or less - 4 American dollar.
- Excellent pizza - 40 pesos - 1.6 American dollar.
Food depends on what you want, but if you are short of money you can eat relly cheap buying something in a supermarket or so.
