Hello! Has anyone ever been in Portmeirion Village in North Wales?

Hi Audry79,

You're message is a bit vague about what you might like to know about Portmeirion, if you are already booked to travel there and if so, when you're going.

There is an official website for the village at

I hope this gives you lots of useful information.

It's a really amazing and pretty place, and a relatively new village, which was opened in 1926, with lovely gardens. It's on its own private peninsula, also quite small and made up mostly of self-catering apartments and hotels. The village is also famous for being used to film the 60s cult British TV series, The Prisoner.

North Wales is beautiful, and Portmeirion is within Gwynedd, so there is also plenty to see and do around that area too. If you do go, I am sure you will love it and I hope you have a wonderful time. I wish you safe travelling.
