Hey all...

Sure gotta agree that these post have been very informative! I'm trying to suck in as much knowledge here as possible! Thanks a lot...

Sure I'm not put off this adventure - And still look very much forward to it. And good to hear others with similar plans!

And thanks for the advices with sleeping Mel. - I could try that out there! Would be great if it worked out every once in a while...

I was thinking of booking a flight to spain - to get it rolling and all... But gotta be home in february though - sad in a way - but on the other hand ok - since it will be my first time travelling like this... If things work out ok - I could surely set sail once again... So that's okay - still plenty of time... But this brings me to another question - Is it possible to book a return flight with the return date changeable? And if so - would that be from a certain airport or what? Any experience with this?

Hello Mugsy

I think these days, most of the flights on the internet are sold separately. I mean, they are not cheaper, just because u book a return flight. U could book a one way. Then later get the return.
And who knows, somebody might agree to take u with them, when they are driving back to Denmark, so if u get really lucky, u wont need a return flight. But needless to tell u, if u are booking a return, book it as much in advance, as u can. This usually makes flights cheaper.

However, i am finding it difficult to find a budget airline website, for flights between Denmark, and the rest of Europe. So, if u find one, would u post it here? I will be going to Denmark, in the near future.

Hey Mel.

Yeah guess you're right... Also it might be more convenient to have the oppurtunity to depart from another airport than the one I arrived at... Plus if i book the return now i'll have to take care of that from day 1!

Hmmm... I've been struggling a bit with that too... But for now i stumbled upon a page where - it says - it compares prices from 500 different flight companies... I guess the number is too high... But from the results i get it seems like the have a bunch - both from and to denmark as well...

I'll post the url for you in a message if it doesn't show here! If you need any help with the translation just ask!

Oh... I got yet another question... Bringing a camera on such rough travelling... How are you gonna recharge it along the way?? Any suggestions??

Hi, just thought I'd throw in my two cents...

Have a look at: !!!! I seriously cannot recommend this website highly enough!! It's a phenomenal thing. That's how I plan to travel this summer. Staying with local people in real houses for free, not hostels, so (I'm hoping) it's more likely to afford a more genuine experience.

Also, I'll be hitchhiking all over the continent, so that's another superb way to save money!

It's true what people have said on here already, there are plenty of people travelling with NO money at all. It IS possible! Your budget could easily see you clear, no trouble!!

Have a great trip!!
