New Year in Ho Chi Minh?

Has anyone ever spent New Years Eve in Ho Chi Minh and would you recommend it?

Hi,
I didn't spend new year's in hcmc but in mui ne and this i'd totally recommend. there's not too much going on but there's parties all around and you'll have a nice time at the beach.i spent christmas in hcmc though and this was fun- people were dressing up in santa costumes riding their motorbikes. so
i reckon hcmc for new year's should be alright.

Hi,

my opinion is diff from Ben.

nothing much to do, nothing much to see.

it was such a boring trip to me, except visiting Guci.

don't really recommend spending new year eve at HCM.
