Im new to these forums and I have been doing a lot of surfing today. All I see is bangkok everywhere......I dont even know where that is! Whats so special about it?
Also, I see NO mention of Japan..well hardly. Why does nobody go to japan?

Not only is Bangkok an amazing city to visit, it's also used as base for many travellers. It's usually their 1st stop on route to the rest of SE Asia or on the way to Australia or New Zealand. If you fly from Europe it's normally the cheapest ticket for SE Asia. It's also the best place to buy cheap connecting flights within Asia or to the south of Thailand-for beaches & Islands.
I loved Bangkok there is so much to do, site seeing, eating, shopping, going out etc. You name it Bangkok has it!

Japan is tooo expensive and besides Thai girls are better looking than Japanese girls. 4 sure. But the thingy about Japanese girls is you dont have to pay to sleep with them. YEP YEP I said it. Japanese students are easy.

That's actually a very good explanation, unfortunately the consequence is that many many many travellers are sticking to the same places. But it keeps on being a nice city, where east meets west!
