Best places to go in Thailand must include a visit to Chaing Mai, the night market is brilliant, the stall holders are really friendly whether you are bargaining and buying, that's great fun, or just getting to know them.
From Chaing Mai take a trip to the hill country, sleepover in the local villages, elephant treking and river rafting don't miss it.
Visit the elephant training camp, the silk factory, the parasol (paper umbrealla) factory and all that sort of stuff.
Bangkok and visit the river market on a long tailed boat, the palaces and all the history, see all you can, take a ride on a tuk-tuk to wherever you want to go.

hey, u guys.. how come only talk about "hokkien mee" (where is my favourite as well) in this forum whereby people is asking which place is most happening and best?!! LOL

If you want go to night club, then u definatately need go to the clubbing area at Jln P. Ramlee. Techno, jazz, blue music, live band.. bla bla.. lots of choices if you are not worrying about noisy. That's the most happening places in KL! Or else, you can go to bangsar (a bit farer) by taking taxi! I have no particular pubs and bar recommend to you, but u can just walk around and get into any pubs or bistro that u would like to.
However, bukit bintang, changkat bukit bintang, also very happening place wif nice restaurant and bistro!! (so far it is al clubbing place.. hehe) If you want bit quite, maybe take a visit at nite to China town?! ( i think not very good choice... :P)

have a nice journey in malaysia! and we have nice food here.

hi- just got back fm Singapore, had a fantastic time. We had a singapore sling @ Raffles in the Long bar and we joined in the 1st ever Arab Appreciation week. Learnt how to belly dance!
Found heaps of fantastic places to eat out but not Newtons Circus- got really ripped off there. Hotel told us not to go there cos too expensive , after we'd been!!
Chinatown was absorbing, Orchard rd was PACKED on Friday night, first day of the 2004 great Singapore Sale, Arab street had materials that were works of art & to die for, the night safari & Zoo were great.
Just loved Singapore. We are going back & we'll stay longer next time!
