I don't know if I should pose this question here, but i hope to get answer. I am looking for accomodation in Rome and there are mostly 2 types of rooms: twin private and twin private ensuite. Ensuite is always more expensive. What is the difference between the two?

I don't rightly know the answer to your question, I just wanted to let you know that this post will probably get more looks if you re-post it in the
"Europe" forum, or maybe "General Talk".

If you don't get the chance to do that one of the admins will likely be by tommorrow and move it for you, to help your question get more responses.

One more idea is that you could contact a travel helper for Italy and ask them if they know... Travel Helpers in specific countries are in general very knowledgeable in dealing with questions pertaining to how their country does stuff.

Sorry to be of such little use, but hopefully this helps you get in touch with someone who can answer your question.

ensuite means that the rooms comes with its own bathroom. some (older) hotels have shared bathrooms in the hallway. it speaks for itself that a room with its own bathroom is more expensive than a hotel room with a shared bathroom.

hope this helps & happy travelling.
