Does anyone have experience of travelling from thailand to india or reverse. How did you fly? how did you book tickets? which airline? at what cost? Any info on tickets that route is helpful!

i flew from delhi to bangkok with indian airlines, i just went to an indian airlines office and booked it with them coz travel agents in india cannot always be trusted, economy was full so i flew business class which cost about 200 pound i think...
check out flights on the net for a bangkok-india flight and remember that sometimes flying into Kolkata can be cheaper than flying into delhi...
also jetstar asia do a cheap flight from singapore to bangalore if thats any help to you...
I flew from Bangkok to Delhi last December. The cheapest route is probably Air India to Kolkatta. weaversgal is right - delhi is a bit more expensive to fly too, and takes a couple of hours longer. I think i paid around 13,000 baht for a return to Delhi, but that was with Thai (only cost about 1000 baht more).
