Does anyone know how hard it is to get good color and black & white print film in Thailand/Laos/Camodia/Vietnam/Malaysia/Nepal?

Can undeveloped film be shipped back to the US safely or do I have to carry it with me the whole trip?

Thanks everyone,

Films are readily available in SE Asia. I bought a few rolls of Fuji Superia (consumer film) in Vietnam but it's more expensive than buying here from bhphoto. Pro grade films like Fuji NPS, NPH, Reala, Velviaj, and B&W from Ilford and Kodak are even more expensive. There's also a problem of fakes as China dumps counter-fits for everything in SE Asia. Recently, they even managed to fake the Japanese electronics corporation NEC, creating an assembly plant, marketing, selling equipments and contracts.

As for development, it's hard to say. I find that many cities have the latest equipment but lack the knowledge and experience to produce quality prints. However, there are quality developers in SE Asia... you have to find out where they are.
