Hi guys,

Currently I am working in Munich, Germany.
Thankfully, I work a full time job and have Holidays I must use (or lose by 31st March!)....
So i am taking them on the 27th of Jan.... for 9 days.
But i as yet have no idea to go, and being completely new to the region.... (with all other fellow work-mates having taken Dec 23-Jan 07 off..... I have no one to go with.

So i am looking for... ideas.... and even better, someone to try that idea out with. Somewhere to go, and someone to go with would be nice.
I did want to go somewhere sunny..... but, maybe that is asking too much.... anywhere interesting would be good.

Any takers???

regards,

Quiet, Australian Guy.

idea 1:
From Munich you can take the plane to Venice (by Hlx.com - very cheap) from there you can travel on to Florence and Rome.

idea 2:
You can take the train to Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague before returning to Munich.

idea3:
you can take a plane ... with one of the budget airlines in germany (hlx.com / germanwings / LTU / Condor / Air Berlin) to almost anywhere in Europe and make a returnflight. (Tenerife, or Gran Canaria should be a nice and warm)

idea4:
hang a map of Europe on your wall, and use a dart to decide where to go.

Hey Svaens,

Unfortunately, I can't go with you (have exams at university in this period) but I can give you some ideas... :)

Can't guarantee sunny weather though... ;) Have you any particular interests, wishes? Well, I advise you to go somewhere to the spa. You can relax in thermal water, go to sauna, take a massage...
Explore surroundings by walking around...

Cheers, Urska
