The Samarqand Hills are beyond any hills or hillocks I have seen - The serenity and existence of lush greenery rolling like plush silk carpets is a sight to behold. Being atop of one, during April 2004, when I last visited Uzbekistan, is "Life, experienced" at its essence of simplicity.
