I am planning on going to Spain for four months from Jan- May to study spanish and expereince the culture. I love warm weather, beaches and anything outside. I really want to have a true expereince of the spanish way of life- rather than live in a very tourist type town or really large city. A smaller city, with more walking and rich culture would be prefered. I have heard Alicante is a good place and there is also a university there. What to you think? I would lvoe to hear from someone who knows spain well. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
