buddies, my next stop is oceania and I am a little fed up about big cities, western culture and so on. If you have any tip about out off the beaten tracks or memorable places in oceania, please, drop it here.

Another thing... to jump among the islands... what is best way (and cheapest)? Planes, boats, swimming?

thanx all!

Go to Samoa! Tropical paradise, all still owned by local people who haven't naffed it up by selling it to developers yet. Tropical waterfalls that you will probably get to yourself, amazing beaches, snorkelling with giant clams, surf, mysterious green lakes with goldfish in, eating lobster for next to nothing at robert louis stevenson's old house, etc.

All of New Zealand is great. Lots of opportunity to get into the wilds. Some of the walks are just spectacular.

For getting away from the crowd in Australia I recommend the Tasmanian wilderness, waking up 30 miles from the nearest man with just wallabies for company is good.
