Well, I can give you a first hand experience for a Hostel in Paris, although I don't know of any hotels. The BVJ: Paris Louvre was great, a 5 minute walk from the Louvre and 25 Euros a night. If yuo're not into the hostel thing, I know that walking around the Latin Quarter we saw numerous budget hotels with "Tourist Specials" at 35 Euros a night/ person advertised in their window. But it was more of a last minute deal type thing, and I'm not sure if you could call them or book online and get the same price. It may be a little bit of a risk not to book before you land, but just know that even in the middle of high season, you can find a cheap room somewhere! St. Germain is also good for cheap deals!

Cheers,
Katie ;)

I just talked to someone who has been living in France and he reccomended a hotel that is 36€ per night and you can have 4 people in the room... However I don´t remember the name exactly and I have no idea how to spell it... (sorry that doesn´t help much) but just so you know they do exist... And he has been living in Paris so I would assume they are available in Paris.

There is a nice hotel near the Eiffel on Rue Cler called Grand Hotel Leveque. The place has gotten great reviews and since I was last there the rates might have gone up. They are around 60-80 euro a night. Rue Cler is a market street with cheese, meat, fruit, wine, and pastry shops. If the price is too steep, at least check out the street. Hope this helps. Derek

If you wanna go even more budget, then you book a budget hotel at formule1. formule1
hotels are located in all main cities in France and allthough they have no shower or
bathroom in the rooms itsels they cost around 25-30 euro for up to 2 adults, 1 kid.
