Hi Nekotang,

I thinks you can show your stocks statement as part of your financial support. As I applied my NZ WHV, there is insufficient funds in my bank account too. So what I did was, I attached my orginal Public Mutual Fund (kind of investment) plus my saving to prove that I hv enough money to support my travel plan in NZ. Hope it help! Cheer.

Dear piniaosai

Can you share how you manage to apply the visa in Singapore?

Cos there is little info on Singaporeans getting the visa.

How much did you put in your bank?

Did you go through STA or just applying by your own.

Is the process fast?

DOes Singaporeans more easier to apply this visa?

Thanks in advance for any contribution!

Just wondering..

Does any one apply the visa through sponsor ship through parents,
what are the things we need to prepare or necessary documentation we need for the sponsoship.

Would there be difficulty getting a visa approved through this way?

Also, If say a person with a criminal record, will he be able to apply this visa? any chance?

cos the act is quite small, shoplifting.

Thanks a gain. hope to get any help soon!

I'm about to apply for my UK work holidaymaker scheme this week. Damn, after reading your posts, you guys seem to be applying for it waayyyy before you'r to depart! does anybody know approx how long the whole application takes to be approved? I heard it prob only takes few wks.. *gasp* hope to go UK in Nov this yr..

hey Joga, i'll be applying under sponsorship from my parents as well, i hope that doesnt lower my chances of getting the visa, will see how it goes this thurs when i apply for it.

Also, i heard from a fren in the U.S who said the price of the student visa to UK actually tripled after the bombing incident, wonder if it affects the WHS appln in Singapore as well..

Was alil disappointed to read that it is highly difficult to get an office/professional job if u'r on work holidaymaker visa.. i mean i kinda expected that, but really hope I can find one. I have been applying for Engineering jobs online already, but haven't got any response at all, whcih is again, expected..

Yes, thinking of living in Manchester/brighton.. cos the living standard is not too high.. please recommend other cities/ nice n cheap places to stay in when i get there! :) thanks guy for all that info ya..

ok, its going to be glorious journey today, gonna take the 9.40am bus to leeds and then from there take another bus to york. going to stay overnight at york, hopefully there are things to see there that are interesting. today is a clear day. i think i will arrive at york around 1 pm. let the adventure begin. just hope my money wont run out by then. cause i spent roughly 400 £ the last 1 week journey covering bath, cardiff and london only. now im going for more than 5 cities. wish me luck.....
