hey..

i've applied for my visa, they've informed me to call 4 days later to check. lil worried, cos i didnt submit my employment letter in singapore. yep joga, im singaporean.

nonetheless, im hoping everything pulls thru. worried abt financial problems as well, cos im actually nt getting any money fr my parents, hoping to survive on my meagre savings. How much do you think wld be enuff, let's say i manage to find a job 1 mth after arriving there?

Also, for those who'r there already, just wanted to find out info on ur airtix. getting all excited, been checking out on air fares. i was thinking of getting a one way tic, cheap n allows flexibility. bt of cos tics fr uk to sin back, wld be ex.. any advice?

thanks.

if you ever want to pass imigration, please buy a two way ticket. reason:

1. you might not enjoy your trip in england or you could not get a job that you want, thus frustrated , you intend to leave. buy a return ticket as well, the ticket is valid for 6 months. you can change the date of departure when you arrive in england by phoning the company.

2. it is best to get a return ticket as the immigration officer will ask you whether you have one or not. it is better to have a return ticket to ensure that you have a way out of england if any trouble arises. they would think that if you run out of cash and no ticket home, you would appeal to some agencies for help or something.

3. a return ticket gives you a higher chance of getting into england

595. Posted by ryuska (Budding Member 30 posts) 19y Star this if you like it!

yes u can.

I went Paris with my WHM visa just 3 weeks ago...no problem. Juz that customs officer will ask you the same questions when you landed at Heathrow Airport.
