Hi there

My friend and I can get discount tickets to kuala lumpur this summer. we will be heading out around the 4th of august.

where shall we go from there? we are thinking thailand but what about malaysia itself?

i would love to see
a) some, but not too much jungle
b)some temples
c)a lot of nice beaches!!

i would love to hear people's recommendations and areas they think i should avoid. I have ordered the guide books but it is always good to hear people's opinions.

Hi carolineww,

Well it's a good idea to come visit Malaysia.
You seems to have doubts on places to visit in Malaysia.
Don't worry, I bet you'll have a nice break over here.

i would love to see
a) some, but not too much jungle
Malaysia is not fully covered by jungle
There're jungles to explore mainly in the East Malaysia.
Such as Taman Negara in Pahang, and Kinabalu in Sabah,
Or Gua Mulu in Sarawak. These places are awesome!

b)some temples
There're plenty of temples over here.
Assuming some holy places. It starts from a hundreds
year old church, to a mosque, kuil, temple and others.
You can easily find temples in Kuala Lumpur.
Recommended Melaka, the historical place of malaysia.

c)a lot of nice beaches!
This is absolutely not a worry.
Malaysia has lots of nice beaches and wonderful islands.
Try islands like Perhentian, Tioman, Redang, Sipadan,
Langkawi and there're more.

Thailand is sitting at the north of Malaysia.
It's a very unique country as well, they do have the simliarity places like Malaysia, beautiful temples, islands, cities. The only differences are the language spoken, the hotter weather in Thai, and the different type of people. In Malaysia you can find out that there're built frm multi races, frm Indian,Malay,Chinese and etc. In Thailand they're all mainly Thais.

Hope you have a great time here.
"Which part of UK ur residing? I might need your help as well.
