Hey there
I am a 26 y.o. female going to Hong Kong alone from April21 to April 25. I am trying to look for accomodations. I am looking to stay somewhere fun that has other travellers who I can meet up with and possibly tour with. Any ideas? The New Garden hostel seems fun! Any other suggestions?

elong is more for business travaller.
i think you could go to hostel.com to find some small guesthouse, you will find some travellers there. i once stayed in a guesthous in Causeway Bay, but i forget the name. i met many western travellers there. it's not expensive but stell clean and safe. what's more, Causeway Bay is a good place for shopping and eating

Hi - I lived in HK, and never stayed at a hostel or hotel, but here is a local link with a list of all hostels, hotels, and guesthouses. You will meet more travelers if you stay in a hostel on the Kowloon side in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I just returned from HK last week, stayed in Dragon Hostel in Mong Kok area. Though the room is quite small, but it's really clean and neat, the location is perfect and most of all it's safe for a girl travelling alone like I did. You could check to their web www.dragonhostel.com for your consideration or you may email me if needed. Have a great holiday.

For affordable Hotel, check Yui Fai Guesthouse http://www.yiufaiguesthouse.com/ HD300/night for 3 persons or Wonderful Inn http://www.wonderfulinn.com/index.php HKD380/night for 2 persons in Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. The place is very accessible, safe and clean, just accross MTR station and it's where most tourist stay.
