Hi all,
Hope i could get some helpful tips and ideas.
Me and two friends are travelling in November this year, on the 23rd we land in Bangkok and have until the 14th January to make our way down to Singapore.
We would like to Visit Vietnam, Laos, Bangkok, all the various islands in Thailand, KL and beaches in Malaysia, and finally singapore.
We have around 56 days and was hoping i could get help with
what to do? how to get to places?
and more importantly, where would be the best place for us to celebrate New Years Eve?
Thanks
Nimzyp

Hey,
u will find a lot on this forum about this specific route ... just like i did...
i did 3 weeks for Thai, Malay and SG, skipped SOOOOO many placecs, and even then i felt its wayyyyy too less of a time to savor this beaaaautiful region.... and u r including Vietnam and Lao too.... so i guess u wud b just touching all the placecs and moving to next...
and there are PLENTY of things only in Thai, Malay and SG, and on a straight route....
Cheers and have a safe trip ...

Hi,
I have been told Singapore is great but expensive compared to some of the thai islands? Apparently Ko samui is supposed to be a great place and also quite lively on new years?
How about KL?? are there any places you can recommend there?
Thanks

If i were you man, i'd try cut down the list of countries you wanna visit, i've done more or less the same route a few years ago and we spent maybe 4 months doing it, and it wasn't nearly enough time! seriously man, i think that rushing through place to place isn't the best way to experience the countries you're travelling in. you should trim the list or extend the stay
