Travel Forums Asia Homeward bound!

Hi guys,

Need some advice. I'm currently residing in London and will be heading home to Oz for good in a couple of months. I would love to stop over somewhere in Asia for a few days on my way home but need to know where!!

My thoughts are either Hong Kong or Beijing - tell me what you guys think and what would be most exciting before heading back after 2 1/2 years away from home!! A mate of mind suggested Goa??? Sounds cool.

I'm also leaving my boyfriend behind in London so will need a huge distraction during that period!!

So let me know what y'all think!

Cheers guys

Naish x

Hello Naish

I would choose India, but not Goa.
I think u will find India distracting enough.;)

Hi Naish,

Hong Kong, Bangkok or Singapore are usual stopovers on that route. Now, if it's distraction you;re looking for I'd suggest SHOPPING in HK before heading back home.

Haven't been to Beijing or HK but Goa would probably be a bit hard to do as a quick stop over between UK & Oz. You would most likely have to get off in Mumbai or Delhi then get a connecting flight to Goa and then back to Mumbai/Delhi. If you don't mind the extra cost or travel then go for it, Goa is awesome.
Bangkok is another good option for a couple of days - cheap, good weather and great shopping.
