Thats a great debate. I fully agree with Mel.
But at the core of it,it is the sex-a basic instinct.like many other enjoyable things in life, sex too is enjoyable.I will go a bit further.A full satisfying and full sex is the greatest physical pleasure in life. Now, the question about morality. It is the trick of the mother nature. An woman ovulates once in a amonth,so in a fertile period of say 30yrs she can theoritacally become pregnant 360times. In practice no more than 20-25 successfull deliveries (minus conceivement & lactating months). Now, consider the male phenomenon. In each ejaculation he is deliverinbg about 2 million sperms, even 1% of it needs many more than a single woman to fertilise successfully. So nature encourages men and women to become polygamous, to procreate more.In fact human being are polygamous biologically. It is absolutelty natural in animal world. Even in the plants,so many flowers, but much less fruits out of these. Now the morality. Soceity puts morality. But the value of morality changed with time and place. Polygamy and prostitution was absolutely normal in almost all ancient civilisation, and even few centuries before at many places.Even today many pockets of soceity in many parts of the world practice polygamy. It is also true for prostitution, where it is encouraged. In generel, who goes there? Mostly men, mostly for pleasure. Why pleasure? Because biologically we are programmed to ejaculate more on many more women. That is the basic instinct. But I am agreeing with mel. In consideration of money sex is taboo. Then should we support rampant consent sex? That is also very difficult to digest even in todays so much liberalised mindset. Ultimately we have to accept prostititution as a natural side kick of society,we like it or not. It will remain so long there is Testosterone and Oestrogen. Comment plz. Thank you all.

i don't think what these girls are doing is 'wrong' as such , but i do think stricter policies should be introduced to tackle pimps and abusive customers. for me, that's the most immoral issue of the whole debate, these absolute low-lifes bashing about girls to keep them working. most of the girls already come from families where they were abused. these are the same people push drugs onto the girls so they stay on the game. and kids being used in prostitution is COMPLETELY unnacceptable!
but yeah, im sort of straying from the point here.. oops..
Personally i have never been to a prostitute, with my incredibly good looks i've never had to hahaha
one thing that does concern me is that some of these girls may not be of sound judgement (because of drugs, alcohol and/or mental illness), in these cases it does seem immoral, but if both parties are of sound judgement, if its consentual and both are comfortable with the stigma attached to the scenario, then let them do it..... just not on my front lawn, thank you.

Thanks(i think) for stating your agreement, with me twice, in your post, Lonelybear. ;)

U are right, in my opinion Mr Gee.
There is more to consider, than whether selling sex is right or wrong. A lot of women find themselves in a situation, where they are being exploited and subjected to abuse, and find it difficult/impossible to get out.

This kind of thing ain't my bag, baby. However if you break the simple stuff down to;

1 person paying 1 other person for sex, and both have freedom to accept or decline, i don't really see a problem with that.

Your offering a service which someone wants, so if they are willing to pay for that service, well they can make a deal and do business.

But Mel, and others,
Are you agreeing with my observation?

Your observation, that sex is great fun?
Yes, I agree.
Or all that biology stuff u are saying?
It is either fact or not. Not a matter of agreeing.
Or that we have to accept prostitution as a side kick of society?
No we dont have to accept it. If societies take care of their people properly, how many prostitutes would there be? People should not be doing this, for want of another choice.;)

Bloody hell. I nearly ejaculated the hot coffee I'm drinking over my keyboard reading that so early in the morning

Next time, why don't you say what you really think

I somewhat agree with Napolean here...but no one becomes a prostitute purely by choice. Most of the prostitutes, at some point of time must have had some peculiar circumstances which forced them into this worlds oldest profession... they are guided by the urgency to earn money for sustainence rather than to satisfy their sexual needs.

I agree with Mel, the first half of your message seemed plausible, the other 'biological' stuff seemed a little suspect haha!

Hookers smookers.. If they wanna do that leave them to it. Only yesterday I was talking about it. They should make it legal at least(Ireland), During the week a young boy was dragged into bushes and raped. Every other day you read of it. If there was legal hookers out there then just maybe 1 or 2 cases of rape may not happen.

Dont get me wrong I dont want to see young girls in windows. Just make it easier access for all the fucking perverts out there...
