yes, there are possibilitys to go from Peru to Brasil by boat.

From Iquitos/Peru are boats leaving to Brasil. The cheap ones are crowded with people and freight, you have to bring your own hammok and look that you will find a place to hang it up.Also water and food you have to take with you.the trip could be up to 8 days depend how long the boat stays at different villages to load or unload.
there is mostly only 1 toilet for 50-100 people.
If you take a luxury Amazon trip to Brasil think of $700-1200.
You may look at the Webs.

Im planning on doing the same trip this summer, and apart from the options above you can take apparently a fast boat from iquitos to tabatinga/leticia and then take the slow one from there, and that should speed the journey a little bit!

good luck!

PS. I cant wait to be in that hammock...

I just did that route. To get to Brazil the best way is to fly to Iquitos then then get the speed boat for about $60 which takes 8 hours to Santa Rosa (Peru), then you get a taxi boat over to Tabatinga (Brazil)to get one of the slower freight boats to Manaus. You´l have to spend the night there and I reccomend staying in Letcia in Columbia as its nicer. The freight boats leave pretty much everyday but I forgot the price. You can also get a speedboat from there to Manaus which is like 36 hours and costs a bit more. If you want anymore info just ask.
