Me and my wife are in our mid twenties and are planning to travel to Asia in a few months. We would be going around China, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and possibly Japan. I was wondering what would be the possiblities for us to find a job there in case money run out or maybe simply because we feel like staying there. Anyone has any experience of going somewhere as a tourist and then finding a job and satying?

Your chances of finding work as a westerner on a tourist visa aren't going to be tremendous in SEA, couple or not. Your best bet will probably be teaching English, particularly in China, and in Japan. Bigger schools are reasonably likely to have more than one vacancy at once.

In my expeerience it can be more difficult to find work as a 'couple' whilst travelling - a lot of employers are only looking for one employee. I think your best bet would be to head to one of the bigger cities where you will both have more chance... I've also found it quite hard to transfer from a tourist visa to a work visa - most employers find the red tape and paperwork just too hard.
