Am trying to plan a trip from Perth up to Exmouth taking in sites such as Monkey Mia, The Pinnacles, Shell Beach and Ningaloo Reef.

Does anyone have any reccomendations?? Have been looking at the Easyrider jump on jump off tours to get up to Exmouth but then coming back??? Greyhound was about $400!!! Am on a serious budget!!

Or is it better to go on an organised tour or hire a camper van and DIY?!?

Any help very greatly appreciated!!

Thanks guys

Hi there,
I just did an Easyrider tour from Perth to Broome. It was great fun and I met some cool people. Much better than the other tours as you can Jump on/off. However, I wouldn't miss Karijini so perhaps you could try and hook up with someone who'll give you a lift? One girl we met even ended up going as far as Darwin by getting a lift so she got to see The Kimberley region and Kakadu, well worth it. I hired a car for that part with some people I met off the Easyrider tour and it was the highlight of my time in Oz.
Best of luck.

in my opinion, do it urself... it IS cheaper, you can do what you wanna do. but you do lose some of the social aspects... however, you can follow the bus around in ur van haha!

i did the same trip as you, but we had our own car... it was pretty chill, we slept in the back of it, and sometimes just randomly parked places and slept for free.

I did exactly the same route - Perth - Exmouth - Perth in September. I did the five day trip from Perth to Exmouth using Western Xposure then after spending a few days by myself I used Easy Rider from Coral Bay to Perth. I would definately recommend using Western Xposure - I couldnt fault them at all. Although EasyRider was cheaper and went to most of the same places it didnt have the same feeling. Send me a message if you want to know more!
