I am from, surprise, Las Vegas. Several TP members have contacted me before coming to Vegas and we have had a buffet together and toured the hotels. Contact me if you need help with Vegas.

I'm from Sydney, Australia

Its very multicultural around here and you can get a good variety of food and beer (and wine) as theres so many different influences.

I think the best thing about food here is that its generally very fresh - its quite easy and convienient to get fresh seafood (sushi is very popular), fruits, organic stuff, etc etc

In the city we have a lot of Irish, Belgium, German beer cafes.

Theres a love of eating outdoors so many places have outdoor dining areas which is awesome on a nice evening (they have outdoor heaters for cold nights)

I'm from Iowa City, Iowa! It's a great university town with a lot of diversity, which is probably not what people would guess. One of my favorite thing about Iowa City is the 4th of July Jazz Fest - free and all kinds of fun! My favorite things about Iowa in general are the sweet corn (nobody else grows it quite as good) and the people (honest, hardworking people who look out for each other and are just a little too nosey.)

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

Not much beer, but there's the Tuak from Sabah and Sarawak (Borneo). Nasi Lemak, coconut milk rice with sambal chillies that you can only find in Malaysia!

I was born in Fife in Scotland
Grew up in the north of England
And currently live near the Southcoast of England.

I am currently doing live-in care work, which ends in September 07, and Im already planning my next trip abroad....

Local food...I don't really indulge in local food, as I have many food allergies, so I tend to stick to a very healthy diet of fruit, vegetables and fish mainly.
I'm also not a lover of alcohol, although I love a mojita, archers & lemonade, or a vodka red square.
