I am going to visit some of the temples in Egypt in a weeks time and need some advice about currency.
Do you get a better exchange rate in Egypt than the UK? Can you get it at Luxor airport?

there are ATMS in Egypt and otherwise you will find moneychangers. u will get a better rate in Egypt then in UK.

money changin wont be a problem the thing is there is one official exchange rate and thus aside from getting it changed at the airport if you get it changed in any exchange or bank the rate is the same and you wont have any issues with changin altough remember to get small change with small notes for example 1LE, 5 LE, 10 LE etc and a bit of piasters which are coins come in handy as ppl wont give you back the change happy travels
