I am a 22 year old Australian Male who would like to travel around china in Early November. I currently live in Tokyo, Japan and would like to here from anybody that is interested! So please, let me know!

I am always open to suggestions about places to visit etc... I was hoping to try and get to Tibet if possible!

Hi from a fellow Aussie teaching in Zhangjiajie, China. Thought I'd write and see if I could be of any help to you organising your China trip. I've been here for 3 years now and have travelled ALOT in that time (although I've never been to Tibet). If you'd like some ideas of good places to travel, or the logistics of how to do it, fire away.

Also, my husband and I run cheap backpacking trips for foreigners through South-Western China. If you're interested in travelling the backroads with other young foreigners (with a Chinese guide) check out our website:

I'd love to hear from you. And if you do visit Zhangjiajie (home of a World Heritage Site), let's meet up for a meal!

Tania :)

Thank you so much for your help - you are awesome! I was having a bit of a headache trying to plan where to go because China is so bloody big!

I hopped on your website and I am very interested in the tours that you have running. They are very well priced and seem to stay away from all the 'touristy' places!

I will be arriving in November and the November 11-22nd date will suite me perfectly! I was wondering if the costs listed on the site are for the whole tour or each day?

Also, how can I get to the starting point of ZHANGJIAJIE? I was thinking of visiting Tibet before hand and then getting to ZHANGJIAJIE by Nov 11. Can I get there from Chengdu or Lhasa? Do you have any tips on getting to Tibet!

Again thanks so much for your help and please stay in touch. My email address is:

I hope to hear from you soon and hopefully catch up with you guys soon!

Take care
