In Singapore, you can visit the Chinatown and The Little India.
Maybe you can have buy cheap things at Bugis Street.
Other than that, you can also visti Jurong Bird Park and the Night Safari.
There are many shopping malls at Suntec City and also Marina Square.
Not to forget the Sentosa Island.:)

Further to the above suggestions I would also recommend the Botanic gardens, (nice to escape the buzz of the city) the Raffles hotel (for a Singapore sling if you fancy it), Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, and take a boat trip from one of these, and go to the top of the Swissotel for a great view of the city and a cocktail in happy hour. Orchard Road is good for shopping.

hey sophia - is your hotel confirmed? Suggest you don't stay there as its not a very convenient place. No Tube. You have to catch a bus.

2 days stop over. Couple of suggestions as I'm not too sure what you are interested in.

Places of interest:
1) The Zoo +The night safari (just beside the zoo)
You can probably do half a day for the zoo and then the night safari in the evening.
2) Sentosa
3) Botanical gardens

Interesting sights
Little India

Orchard road - high end
Bugis - cheaper stuff but still quite good
Lucky u..its the month of the Great Singapore Sale. Everything is going for a song =P

MOS @ clarke quay / Couple of other clubs there and it beside the singapore river. So you can chill out there
Zouk - the oldest clubbing institution in Spore
St James Power Station - the newest local clubbing joint. Not as Hip as MOS but u get to see how local party =)

Am @ work now so gotta make this brief. Shoot me a note on what's your interest and I can try to help out more.

Enjoy Singapore!
