My boyfriend and I are looking at doing one of these Fraser Island/Whitsundays packages and we were just wondering if there are any that are more suited to couples. Though we are both up for meeting people and having a good time we'd rather not be stuck in a 4WD with people who just want to get wasted all the time and not see any of the island etc. As neither of us drive we can't just rent a car for ourselves. Would a guided tour of Fraser be better? Also when doing the Whitsundays are there any specific boats that aren't as wild? Sound like a total square I know but we did a group thing in our first week in Oz and our group was mainly made up of 'lads' who were interested solely in getting wasted and ruined all the activities for anyone who actually wanted to see a bit of Sydney

ACR Travel tours are probably a good bet.

Hi Amy,
Not sure about specific tours for couples as such, but maybe a family oriented one would be better - still noisy kids, but not as drunk!
We used FantaSea from Airlie Beach to go out to the GBR, and they were fantastic. Well organised and a good mixed crowd.

hey just come back from doing it all, amazing! i would defo go a self drive tour with harvey bay 4x4 its all orginised through beach back packers in harvey bay, which is also a great hostel, as for whit sundays i went on the matador, it was great and the crew were awsome, not the most livly of boats at night but pbest for diving and sigh seeing,
if your near sydney speak mitch at oz experience, they will sort you out with any tour.
