Hi everyone,
Ive just book my flights to Thailand and India and am just trying to plan my route round India at the momennt as I have been to Thailand before.

My query is which way to go round India?
Im flying into Delhi and departing from Mumbai but want to visit Nepal aswell. Any ideas on a route I could take without retracing to many of my steps?
I've just started reading about India, so would love to hear your opinions, experiences, advice and of course any must see places.

I would suggest making Delhi as a hub for the north of India. You haven't mentioned how much time you have so I'll just go over a plan assuming time is not a constraint. A proposed itinerary would be :

You could fly to Nepal from Delhi and then back.
Then you could probably take off to Leh by road (worth the long trip) via Manali as the Manali-Leh road will be open by July.
After you're done with the above two sectors, then you could probably start off from Delhi visiting Rajasthan, UP (Agra & Varanasi in particular) and MP ending up at Bombay.

From Bombay you can visit South India particularly Kerala and Goa among other places.

India has a lot to see with every region/place quite different from each other. If you study a bit about India and maybe refer to some good guide books, you'll be able to decide which places you'd like to visit depending on your interests.
