Hey all!
I am going to be in Salzburg for three days. I am arriving, unfortunately, at 4:30 AM on a bus from Prague. It says I will be arriving at Lastenstrsse 12. Does anyone know anything about the area (safety, and the bus terminal itself), or have any suggestions about what I should do with myself until check-in at 7? Does anyone know how far away the train station is? (I'm having problems finding a decent map... from what I can tell it is quite close...) I am very worried about it, being a young female solo traveller. Has anyone ever been in a similar situation?
Thanks so much.
Happy travels!

According to Google Earth:
The Lastenstrasse is very near to the trainstation. (it's on the backside, east of the tracks). If you find a map, and you follow the B-150 south, you find a street (to the right) called the Gniglerstrasse. The last bit of this street is the Lastenstrasse. I can't see if you can enter the station from there or not. (I think there is an entrance a little further south).
Around 6.00 it should be possible to find a backery that is opening, the store, but before that I don't see too many things to do, except waiting, and maybe reading a book.

type in the city/adress and u'll see where it is.
Salzburg (and Austria in general) is very safe.
But like anywhere in the world follow the 'general rules'.
it is right, there will b bakeries open, especially at the trainstation with some cafes where u can sit and wait.
have a nice time in Salzburg- u will b fine
