Hey all !

I am planning on visiting Ireland early October 2004.. going to be in Dublin of course, but I want to see the west coast as well...

I am going to venture there on my own for a look of course.. but I am wondering.. once there.. are there any guided day tours I can check out? just so I can sit back and let someone take me somewhere for a day.. !

Any sites/info you know of concerning guided day trips for Ireland?

Thanks a bunch :)

try the, they do guided tours sort of! but i think its on a bus and stayin in different towns each nite which can be both good and bad, also try cie, dont really know their addy proper but i'm sure you'll find it! if you head to any main town you'll find a tourist office and they'll give you info on tours etc, like in galway for instance, tourist office is down foster st. but you can arrange a ferry to the arann islands etc. oh and also look up killarey cruises its a class course round the wesht coast! time of year a lot of the tours mite have finished if its october but the best ones dont really!! and then theres always a good old reliable pub crawl best tour of any but just dont believe half the shit people tell ya! i dunno was that much help but.........

Hi there,

Bus Eireann do bus tours etc, check out

Be careful when booking the tours you can be ripped off / overcharged by some of the local tours, try and make sure its either from the tourist offices, Bus Eireann, Cie , etc........ the Paddywagon tours can be good for meeting people as the majority of the tours are aimed at having a great time......

Have a great time........ ;)
