Hi all,

I need to know everything you can tell me about Canary Islands...starting with whether mid. November is a good time to go, which islands should I cover, how many days would it take....??

mid November is definitely still a good time to visit the Canary Islands. It won't be so hot anymore but still sunny and warm for exploring.

Which islands you should cover depends, in my opinion, on what you want to do. Do you want to relax on the beach? Then I'd recommend Fuerteventura. If you're more interested in nature and hiking, then go to La Gomera or La Palma. Tenerife and Lanzarote have nice beaches and a diverse landscape so I would definitely recommend going there. Gran Canaria I didn't really like. I haven't been to El Hierro yet.

Gran Canaria can be very rowdy ... Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are very laid back and there would not be much nightlife at that time of the year..

If you want a mixture you should check out Los Cristianos in Tenerife...Very laid back, nice beach, not very noisey at night but yet its a bus\taxi ride away from the veronica strip in Playa De las Americas which consists of the main strip of bars and clubs on the Island

I've been to Tenerife, the south is always warm! But there are only tourists!! Cycle down from the Pico de Teide! that was really cool! check out the moonshaped landscape. If you have a possibility go to the north, as it is more green over there! don't stay in the south... even though the whether is ok... there is not that much to do! It is definetly worth traveling around the island!
