Romance in the office
This is the Québec expression for such things (and, ironically, they say it in English with a wicked accent):
"Don't f*** with the payroll."
When I was a lot younger, I had a fling with the work experience girl.
It caused all sorts of problems, and needless to say the work experience program was cancelled after that.
Not me, but a few of my colleagues have been in office romances. One ended quite badly and now the two don't really talk to each other even though they work in the same office and have to see each other everyday.

Yeah a couple of times over the years, it's ok if you don't work on the same floor or on the same things.
It only really gets messy if what happens outside work is carried into it.
With the amount of hours people spend at work nowdays, it's the most likely place that you will meet someone.
Our office is REALLY incestuous - we have lots of siblings working together, husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends! Nearly everyone has a relation of some sort working here!
I worked together with a couple once in the same dept (they are now married) but GOD the atmosphere when they had a row - it really involved the entire dept we were all on egg shells - NOT GOOD!
In that same company (dont work there now) the sales dept were notorious for bed hoping - the company name at that time was CABLETEL and it was better known as SHAGATEL at one point.
As a disclaimer l would like to add that l didnt work in the sales department in that company and steered well clear of it!
As for me - no never had an office fling or relationship - dont think l could stand it conversations would be very insular and problems would be brought into the work place - plus there's no one in this place l could ever fancy!!!
Nope, I have to say I've never had a work fling. I did fancy one of my bosses like rotten at one point, until I realized what a total manus he was. 
Anyway, it's got to be a bad idea doesn't it?
