At 13.00 we are meeting at Central Station in The Hague, and then we will walk to the square/ Binnenhof in the city. Here we will give a briefing to the Permanent Commissioner of European Affairs at 14.00. This is an initiative of the Burmese Democratic Community.

12.00 Procession to Dam Square
12.30- 13.30 Demonstration at the 'Nationaal Verzetsmonument' at Dam Square. This is an initiative of the Burma Centrum Nederland.

Please light candles in your windows on Friday night to honour the victims of the demostrations.

There is a demonstration outside the Burmese Embassy in London every day from 12-1pm. We had 300 outside the Embassy on 27th , we then marched through central London to the Chinese Embassy.

Thai government is also a Military Junta as well....
Remember the military coup 2006?? The military junta overthrew the elected government of Thaksin Shinawatra on 19 September 2006....

Yeah, especially as these flagged posts mean that Mel can't post any new messages until the flags have been cleared. (if I remember the code correctly; although maybe we limited that only to budding members? If not, Sam/Peter, I think that would be a really good thing to do.) I hope that whoever did the flagging has a good reason for it. (I'd say even the URLs are "news" far more than "promotional posts".)

Personally, I had no idea about the "wear red", but enough people did that I really noticed it today, and was already wondering what was going on with that.
